Saltwater Angler Magazine Announces Expansion
The staff and contributing writers of Saltwater Angler & Sportsman Magazine are pleased to announce a significant expansion of our brand. This growth will include major advancements in our 12-year-old digital publication.
Starting October 2, 2024, Saltwater Angler & Sportsman Magazine will be renamed The Angler & Sportsman Magazine. This name change reflects the transformation we are undergoing, driven by the evolving interests of outdoor sports enthusiasts. We are broadening our scope to include freshwater fishing and offering more extensive coverage of hunting and other outdoor activities.

As part of this metamorphosis, Saltwater Angler & Sportsman will partner with Carolina ALL OUT, a television show dedicated to hunting, fishing, and more. This collaboration will amplify the reach of both entities, offering a wider range of content and enhanced entertainment options.
Key Advancements In The Transition:
- A 30% increase in the number of monthly feature stories.
- A broader range of content covering various outdoor sports.
- The introduction of an “audio” option, allows readers to listen to stories—a perfect feature for those on the go.
- Six new contributing writers in addition to numerous Carolina ALL OUT show guests.
- Multiple access points for readers: through our website, our Facebook page (where most features will be posted throughout the month), and our digital magazine, which presents stories in the format of a traditional magazine.
- A minimum of three weekly email updates with information on current events impacting fishing and hunting.
This expansion marks a new chapter for our brand, designed to provide our loyal readers with an unmatched source of outdoor sports information. We are especially excited about our collaboration with Carolina ALL OUT, which currently airs on various channels across the Carolinas and is poised for further growth under the leadership of its owner, Chris Douglas. We’re so excited to have Chris and his team at Carolina ALL OUT sharing their skills and experience with our magazine.

We’re looking forward to the many great things that will take place. We also want to thank our contributing anglers for all their hard work over the years that made our magazine what it is today. You’re my heroes. Most of all, we want to say thanks to our growing number of viewers for their loyalty over the past 12 years.
We love ya!!!
