Because many of us fish frequently, we sometimes lose track of how much both saltwater and freshwater fishing have evolved in recent years and even in recent months. We continue to see new fishing products hit the tackle shop shelves—and then the water—what seems like every week. The same is true for boats and other gear. This year, I looked back to see what new innovations have arrived so far in 2024.
